1. Services Provided

Engineer agrees to provide audio mixing services for the Client's song ("Project"). Includes level balancing, EQ, compression, and effects processing, and stereo mixdown. Minor timing adjustments included where necessary. Extensive editing, tuning, or correction is not included unless separately agreed. Does not include beat production, mastering, or songwriting ownership.

2. Payment

$200 for projects up to 16 tracks · $300 total for projects with 17–32 tracks. Initial deposit of $200 is required to begin. The remaining $100 is due upon delivery. Track count is based on total files submitted.

3. Required File Delivery

Client must provide properly prepared WAV files — properly labeled, time-aligned from 0:00, free of clipping. Required: Drums, Bass, Instruments/Music, Main Vocal, Adlibs, Backgrounds/Harmonies. Disorganized or excessive files may result in additional charges or delays.

4. Delivery

Final stereo mix (WAV) with appropriate headroom for mastering. A demo master may be included for reference only — not for official release.

5. Revisions

Client is entitled to 2–3 revisions. Additional revisions may incur additional fees.

6. Turnaround Time

Discussed prior to starting. Delays caused by incomplete files or slow communication are not the responsibility of the Engineer.

7. Project Scope & Cancellation

Engineer reserves the right to cancel projects that become significantly more time-consuming due to poor file prep, excessive track counts, or repeated revision requests. Any refund will exclude processing fees and applicable Pennsylvania taxes.

8. Credit

Client agrees to credit: "Mixed by Sour" on all streaming platforms, metadata, and public releases. Distribution credits via DistroKid (twro412@gmail.com).

9. Use of Work

Engineer retains the right to use the Project for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Approved refunds exclude processing fees and applicable taxes.

11. Liability

Engineer is not liable for commercial performance, distribution outcomes, or third-party platform actions.

Engineer agrees to provide audio mastering services for the Client's song ("Project"). Includes final tonal balancing (EQ), compression and limiting, stereo enhancement (if necessary), and final loudness optimization. Mastering prepares the track for distribution and playback across all platforms.

2. Payment

$100 per track. Full payment required before delivery of final master files.

3. Required File Delivery

Client must provide a final stereo mix ready for mastering: WAV format, unmastered — no limiter on master bus, peaks between -6 dB and -3 dB, no clipping or distortion. Engineer is not responsible for issues caused by poor mix quality.

4. Delivery

Final mastered track (WAV) optimized for streaming and distribution. An analog print version may be included representing analog equipment processing.

5. Revisions

Client is entitled to 2 revisions. Additional revisions may incur additional fees.

6. Turnaround Time

Discussed prior to starting. Delays caused by file issues or communication gaps are not the responsibility of the Engineer.

7. Credit

Client agrees to credit: "Mastered by Sour" on all streaming platforms, metadata, and public releases.

8. Use of Work

Engineer retains the right to use the Project for portfolio and promotional purposes. Any restriction must be requested and agreed to in writing before work begins.

9. Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds once work has begun.

10. Liability

Engineer is not liable for commercial performance, distribution outcomes, or third-party platform actions.

11. Agreement

By purchasing mastering services, Client agrees to all terms. Engineer: Tim "Sour" Wroniak

1. Grant of Rights

Producer grants Artist an exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased instrumental ("Beat") to create one (1) new musical composition. Artist receives full commercial usage rights, subject to the terms below.

2. Ownership

Producer retains full ownership of the underlying composition and master of the Beat. This Agreement grants a license — not a transfer of copyright ownership.

3. Pricing Tiers & File Delivery

Tier 1 ($250) — Grouped Stems: Drums, Bass, Instruments/Music, and additional grouped elements. These are summed audio groups, not individual trackouts.

Tier 2 ($500) — Full Trackouts: Individual trackouts (each sound exported separately) plus dry (unprocessed) versions.

4. File Format & Levels

All files delivered in WAV format, unmastered, with appropriate headroom. Stems/trackouts peak between -10 dB and -6 dB. Stereo reference may include: "2 Track (Loud)" mastered preview and "2 Track (Headroom)" unmastered version.

5. Royalties & Splits

Producer is entitled to 50% Publishing (writer's share) and 50% Producer Share (master royalties where applicable). Splits must be registered upon release via DistroKid (twro412@gmail.com).

6. Credit

Artist agrees to credit: "Produced by Sour" on all streaming platforms, metadata, and public releases.

7. Enforcement

If Artist fails to provide proper splits, credit Producer, or releases without honoring this Agreement, Producer reserves the right to issue takedowns on all platforms, enforce content ID/monetization claims, and remove or block the Song without prior notice.

8. Delivery

Files delivered only after full payment is received. No files released prior to payment.

9. Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds once files have been delivered.

10. Term & Governing Law

Agreement effective upon purchase, remains in effect indefinitely. Governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.

Engineer Role

The goal of every session is the best possible performance and input signal. Suggestions from the engineer are always intended to serve the performance. All creative decisions remain at the artist's discretion. In the event of song changes during the session, the engineer expects no songwriter acknowledgment or royalties.

Beat & Royalty Advisory

YouTube beats and most beats found online are not free to use commercially. Royalties may need to be split, your music may be taken down from streaming platforms, and further legal implications may apply. Sour Sounds is not liable for any copyright or royalty disputes arising from beats provided by the artist.

Instrumental Creation

Original instrumentals giving you full rights can be arranged at standard fee scheduling and sent in advance so no block time is used on production.

Overtime & Extensions

Sessions running over may or may not be extended at the engineer's discretion. Book the block you need.

Rate & Payment

$150 · 3-Hour Block · Full payment required before session begins. No refunds after the session starts. The $20 consult call is credited toward your session.

All payments are required upfront unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Services will not begin until payment is received.

2. No Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once work has begun or files have been delivered. Any approved refunds will exclude processing fees and applicable taxes.

3. Service Scope

Each purchase applies only to the specific product or service selected. Additional work, revisions, or requests outside the agreed scope may require additional payment.

4. Delivery

Delivery timelines vary depending on the service and will be communicated prior to or after purchase. Delays caused by incomplete information, missing files, or lack of communication are not the responsibility of the Provider.

5. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, properly prepared files, and clear communication. The Provider is not responsible for issues resulting from poor file quality or incomplete submissions.

6. Third-Party Services

Payments and certain services may be handled by third-party platforms. Provider is not responsible for issues related to third-party platforms, including payment processing or distribution services.

7. Agreement to Additional Terms

Specific services (including beat licensing, mixing, and mastering) are governed by additional terms and agreements. By completing a purchase, you agree to any applicable service-specific terms provided prior to checkout.

8. Liability

Provider is not liable for commercial performance, distribution outcomes, or third-party platform actions.

9. Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

All payments are processed through third-party providers, including Stripe. Producer does not store or have access to full payment details such as credit card numbers.

Producer does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. Information is only shared when necessary to complete a transaction, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill a direct request from the client.

5. Data Storage

Information is retained only as long as necessary to complete services and maintain business records. No unnecessary data is stored or transferred.

6. Client Files

Any files or materials provided by the client are used strictly for the purpose of completing the requested service and are not reused, distributed, or shared without permission.

7. Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

8. Client Rights

Clients may request access to their information or correction/deletion of their data via direct contact.

9. Changes to Policy

This policy may be updated as needed. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of any updates.
